Our surf camp on Sumatra’s southern coast has a 2 storey open air pavilion that sits a stones throw from the beach. Sit and watch the waves roll by or grab a beer and enjoy those famous Indonesian sunsets as it sets directly in front of you. On the ground floor is “The engine room” or the kitchen, where the staff prepare all our meals, straight outside that is “The nerve center” or the bar, where it all goes down. Play your tunes, watch all your sports, butcher 80’s classics with karaoke or engage in “spirited banter lol” with your hosts, our bar overlooks the pool and the wave directly out front. Upstairs provides a chill out area with elevated views of the waves and surrounding mountains.
